BIG TREE Awarded MRT's Largest Advertising Concession
The Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project is nearing completion of its first line; the 51km Sungai Buloh – Kajang line which will commence operations by end of 2016. This line passes through highly populated areas such as Kota Damansara and Maluri; as well as having stations at various landmarks for example Muzium Negara and the Tun Razak Exchange. A total of 31 stations have been constructed, of which 7 are underground. Each MRT train consists of 4 cars with a capacity of 1,200 passengers, servicing an expected 400,000 riders daily.
September 2016 marks a significant moment for Big Tree as MRT announced the Outdoor Exterior advertising concession has been awarded to the Big Tree led consortium. This would enhance the offerings of its Big Ride advertising platforms.
Big Tree will leverage on four main pillars in delivering value to advertisers. This includes offering comprehensive outdoor media solutions, using the most current technology in out-of-home (OOH), creativity and professionalism in dealing with stakeholders. Big Tree will utilise both digital and static media solutions, incorporating new designs of products, where some are exclusive to MRT. Some of these products are new to the Malaysian outdoor advertising industry; hence, Big Tree will continue to be the leader in landscaping the standards of outdoor and transit advertising in Malaysia.
